Merge Poker Network Deposit Methods Update

The Merge Poker Network have been at the forefront of innovative deposit methods for some time, phonecards, eWallets and vouchers sitting alongside the ‘traditional’ methods like credit cards and cash transfers. Today we bring you news that one method has gone (maybe temporarily) and another has been added at Merge’s flagship site, Carbon Poker.

First, eWalletXpress has been removed from the list of Carbon Poker deposit options. As one of the few ‘electronic wallets’ open to US players this will be a big loss. Carbon Poker are not ruling out re-introducing this method should it become a viable option for US players again in the future. We will of course keep an eye on future electronic wallet activity and let Poker Bonus Network readers know if new ones become available again or existing brands decide to start allowing gambling transactions for US customers.

Some good news: Carbon on the Merge Poker Network have introduced a brand new system called ‘My Voucher’. More unwelcome news for players in Washington State over the weekend, as Full Tilt Poker became the second major site to stop accepting players on legal grounds. Pokerstars were the first, having pulled out at the end of September. Players on both sites can still arrange cash-outs and can redeem any loyalty points earned.

One main change with the Sit N Goes is the addition of Super-Turbo games. These are seriously fast, 3 minute blind levels might sound fairly normal, it is when you find out that blinds start at 100 and 50 and chipstacks start at 1000 chips that you start to understand that a good push-fold game and a certain element of fearlessness are required for these games.
