At this time of year the poker networks all get busy releasing their qualifier schedules for the World Series of Poker events. This year there are a wide variety of satellites across the sites, offering prize packages to the $10k buy-in ‘Main Event’ and many of the smaller ‘Side Events’ too.
Here I look at the biggest and best networks who have already released their WSOP qualifiers for 2013!
First up a note for US readers. Bovada, who used to be known as Bodog are the only US site currently holding satellites for the World Series. These include quarter finals and semi-finals, which lead to the supersatellite which gives away the huge $15k packages. This site recently grabbed the number 1 spot as the biggest US network and I recommend you check them out for their easy cash games as well as world series qualifiers – head on over to Bovada.lv for more info!
Networks With 2013 World Series Qualifiers – iPoker
What you’ll like about this year’s satellites at iPoker is the choice of 4 different prize packages.
Instead of just the $13.4k Main Event trip, iPoker are offering and ‘Executive Package’ worth $25k, and 2 separate side-event packages valued at $7.1k and $4k. Each prize has different supersatellites which run on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, ranging from $55 to $525. The 3-stage system of sub-qualifiers means you can get involved with small or larger bankrolls – the smallest buy-in I saw so far was just 44c.
The executive package is handled separately via special Jackpot SNG tournaments – if you win 6 of the $10+$1.90c games in a row then you really will be in for the experience of a lifetime including multiple events an plenty of spending money and perks.
You can grab an extra $20 cash on top of your 200% welcome bonus to help you qualify at the iPoker Networks biggest site – Titan Poker. Use bonus code PBKLUB when you register, deposit $30+ first time, and I will ensure that the $20 is paid direct to your player account within 48 hours (usually sooner!). Poker Networks With WSOP 13 Qualifiers 2 – 888 Poker
This network have one of the biggest prize packages to the Main Event around, valued at a huge $15,000. The main reason you should consider 888 for qualifying is the easy games compared to other poker sites. With a largely amateur / recreational player base I always feel that you can tell the difference – and your bankroll will soon agree.
888 also offer a ‘Vegas Party Experience’ package which includes entry to one of the side events and a short stay in town. You can claim an extra $10 on top of your 100% to $400 max matched welcome bonus by registering with bonus code 10FORU.
