Some big tournaments coming up for US readers. Here is a run-down of some cool happenings at Carbon Poker, America’s Cardroom and Lock Poker. With tournaments getting bigger and better at the US friendly poker networks, I’m starting to wonder whether we will see a Million guaranteed some time in 2013??
I’ll start this post with the cool looking Turbo-Ops at Carbon Poker, then cover the ISPT at Lock and finally a big buy-in one-off event at America’s Cardroom.
US Online Poker Tournaments – Carbon Poker Turbo Ops
Things are looking great at the Merge Network’s flagship site Carbon Poker. You’ll love the software, depositing is now very easy (thanks to their cashier switch) and as you will see with Turbo Ops, they continue to lead the way when it comes to innovative and generous promotions.
Turbo Ops is a tournament event, it starts on the 28th March, running through to the 31st and includes a great schedule of Turbo poker tournaments with a cool million in combined guarantees. There are buy-ins for everyone, starting at $1 and going through to $109.
There are already satellite qualifiers running for the bigger events, in both MTT and SNG formats. There is also a leaderboard contest in place with $500 for 1st through to $50 for 10th.

US Online Poker Tournaments #2 – America’s Cardroom 200k Guaranteed
America’s Cardroom have a one-off tournament with a hue $200,000 guaranteed on April 7th. This has a $215 buy-in and starts with 10k chips to ensure you’ll get plenty of play! This is an additional tournament – so the usual $50k Gtd Sunday event will still run. There is also a full satellites schedule so you can win a ticket in the big event. After their previous ‘liberty’ tournament I am quietly confident in predicting that the final prize pool will be even bigger than the guaranteed amount!

US Online Poker Tournaments #3 – Lock Poker ISPT Qualifiers
ISPT stands for International Stadiums Poker Tour, and is a big live event to be held in Wembley Stadium, London during May. This has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million and a select number of poker sites are holding online qualifiers (and sub-qualifiers too). For US players the key option is Lock Poker on the Revolution Poker Network. This excellent site has a growing stable of pros and is providing some much needed competition to Bovada and Carbon Poker, the other larger US poker sites.
