Right, on with the info on Poker Maximus III
The first thing to note is that it was only a couple of months since the 2nd running of this online poker tournament event. For me this shows the huge appetite among US players for tournaments with big prize pools. I hope that we will see Maximus at least quarterly, and also hope that the rival Revolution Network will respond with their own event… a little competition is always good for the players.
The second thing to note is that the buy-ins cover a wide range, from $11 through to $530. This keeps a lot of players involved – and with PLO, HORSE and Rebuy events there is a wider choice than before too!
Dates: Poker Maximus III will run from November 29th through to the 9th December.
Satellites will be starting in the next week or so. These are always popular at Carbon ahead of the big events, and with plenty of recreational players in them – you have a great chance of winning your seat in one of the $100+ entry games!
