Somewhat sad today, hearing that one of the older poker brands – Sun Poker – have closed their doors. This site were on the iPoker1 tier of sites… and it seems that without the recreational players provided by the big betting brands who make up the iPoker2 sites they were unable to provide a reason for their players to continue with them.

I expect this will not be the last announcement of this kind.

iPoker2 is really seeing the benefits of separating, and has tables full of recreational players while the ‘rakeback grinders’ of the tier 1 sites now just sit playing against each other. You can find out more on the split in this article over at SNG Planet.
