Full Tilt Poker, the largest Stand Alone Poker Site have just released a major upgrade to their already excellent software. This includes several new poker variations and some changes to the way hand histories are displayed.
The new games on offer at the world’s 2nd largest poker site are as follows:
- 5 Card Draw Poker: Available in No Limit, Fixed Limit and Pot Limit Betting formats, this is the game made famous by countless Western Films in which all cards are face down and the betting + number of cards drawn is the information used to make decisions.
- 2-7 Triple Draw: Here players try to make the lowest hand, with aces counting as high cards and straights + flushes also counting as high hands. You have 3 separate draws to make 2-3-4-5-7 or similar low hands.
- A-5 Triple Draw: This is a lowball draw game in which players compete to make a wheel (A-2-3-4-5), Fixed Limit Betting only.
- 2-7 Single Draw: Again the lowest hand is the winner, with aces, straights and flushes all bad. This time there is only one draw, and the betting is in no-limit format making this a tough action packed poker variation.
- Badugi: This is a triple-draw low card game, the object is to hit A-2-3-4, played in a Fixed Limit betting format.
PBN Tip: Whenever a poker site introduces a new poker game (or variation), many recreational players and fish go to check them out. For a couple of weeks before the ‘regulars’ become established you will find some of the most profitable games around.

New Games At Full Tilt Poker – 10 Game Mix + Tournaments
Full Tilt have added 2-7 Triple Draw, 2-7 Single Draw and Badugi to their 7-game mix to bring you 10-game mix. This beats Pokerstars who offer 8-game as their ‘most mixed’, we look forward to seeing what happens in reply!
The new draw games have also been added to the upcoming FTOPS. For those who have not come across this, it is a regular online tournament event, where for two weeks high stakes tournaments (which you can qualify for) run every night. 5 card draw, 10 game, 2-7 single draw and 2-7 triple draw are included in the next event, which starts on September 10th.
New Software At Full Tilt – A Quick Note On The Hand History View
You can now control the speed of hand histories in the replayer view or choose continual play to keep this going. The visual setup of hand histories (which was already very good) has not been changed.
Final Note: Full Tilt really seem to be making an effort to be innovative at the moment, with some other major poker sites at risk of being left behind! I personally love this poker site and play much of my poker there – if you have not already done so then make sure you check out Full Tilt Poker for yourself today, use referral code PBKLUB to claim your 100% matched first deposit bonus.
