I have to say that the attitude of Americas Card Room is refreshing. This site used to be called Doyles Room and now run on the Yatahay / Winning Poker network. They are using the anniversary of Black Friday one year ago to run the biggest single guaranteed prize pool of any US friendly online poker tournament for a year! What is more, you can win a seat in this event in the huge number of satellite qualifiers scheduled between now and the 15th of April.

Liberty Tournament at America’s Card Room

This tournament has a massive $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, with $50,000 guaranteed for the winner. The direct buy-in is $200+$15 and if you bust out within the ‘late registration’ period then you can re-enter as a new player. Players will start with 10k chips, meaning there is plenty of scope for play. The time and date for your diary is April 15th at 8PM Eastern

Liberty Tournament Qualifiers

To say there are a lot of satellites to this weekend’s big US friendly tournament would be an understatement… the schedule is currently full of them. For smaller bankrolled recreational players these start at just $1.10c… though you can buy-in to the bigger satellites if you prefer.

One more date for your diary is the Friday 250 seat supersatellite – which guarantees 250 seats in the big event. This is at 8PM ET on Friday the 13th April 2012 and costs $39… though you can win a seat in this tournament to through sub-qualifiers!

Americas Card Room – Big Marketing, Big Ambitions?

This is currently a smaller network, though with promotions like this one I expect to see them growing fast. When a network suddenly decides to have the single biggest tournament in a year it can pay to take notice – what else are they offering prospective players to head on over to their tables?
